Our House is a Very, Very, Very Fine House

With two cats in the yard
Life used to be so hard
Now everything is easy
'Cause of you

I just had to get a photo of the Maple tree before the wind blows all the leaves off.

My God I love this colour! It excites my brain and makes my heart happy. In 1996 DD#1 and I found this little, six foot October Glory Maple tree. DD#1 drove home while I sat in the passenger seat with the pot between my feet and the tree sticking out the passenger side window of my Plymouth Acclaim. When I planted it, it shrank to a five foot tree but now it is a thing of beauty and a wonder to behold.

Pretty! Red maple leaves are poisonous to horses (I just thought you needed to know that.)

Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to keep my herd out of the front yard.

I lost my little twig of a Japanese maple to the horrible summer. Your maple
is gorgeous, I have never seen one that red before.

I absolutely love red maples. They are just glorious in the fall.

It certainly rivals any tree color we have here. Magnifico! And with my new high speed, I don't have to wait around for either your site to pop up or the photos to be loaded!!! Loving it!

Beautiful tree!!! Our maple is also spectacular this year. Husband took a close-up photo of the leaves and I think it looks good enough to frame.

Pretty. I also really like that gigantic pine next to it.

Me too but I worry it might fall on the neighbour's house in a storm.

It's a treat to have a little bit of Indian Summer before the rainy season starts.

I notice the Red Maples are extra beautiful this Fall, one of my favourite trees, and so nice it is where you can enjoy it. I have a japanese maple but it does get tall and impressive, it was only a twig when I bought it many years ago.

Our Japanese Maple didn't quite make it into the photo. You can see part of it on the far left side of the first picture. I love Autumn colours.

Oh my! It's fantastic! I can see why it would gladden your heart.

Unfortunately it doesn't last very long but it sure is worth the wait.
