So, now we know what happens when I try to kill the aphids on my rose bush. Don found a little present "someone" chucked over our common fence. Must be one of the neighbour's rats that my cats didn't kill. I knew she must have rats when she mentioned them in her letter to the newspaper last week. The woman is insane! Don didn't chuck it back over the fence. He put it in the garbage, rat trap and all. I hope we can just go back to ignoring each other now. I am, however, documenting everything. I would really like to talk to her and find out why she hates us so much, other than the fact that we acquired two cats, but there is really no point in trying. You can't reason with insanity.
