Last December I was commissioned to knit a black neckwarmer for a customer who saw and admired DH's neckwarmer I had blogged about (https://mybloggers.com/nittineedles/warm_neckcold_feet.html).
Then my customer asked for a teal cowl she needed for a gift.
I had some yarn left over so I knit matching fingerless mitts as a thank you.
The colours in the first two photos are true.

Gloves are a hassle, fingerless mitts would be nice. I love the teal color.

reguards yer envious pal bugg
I have knit one sweater in my life, with instruction from a friend on how to augment and reduce. I have forgotten everything. I am still recovering from the effort. I can't find the sweater but I know it's in the house somewhere.
Isn't it amazing how the colors can change in a photograph? I'm struggling with my current cardigan, trying to get the shaping/rows/increases/decreases to come out like the directions and have the front left match the front right. Lots of ripping and counting rows. I know it's not a matter of life and death that they be perfect, but I don't want it to be totally out of whack. Wish me luck.
