I am so depressed. First I waited three weeks for my new glasses and now that I have them, I can't see anything up close. I didn't think I'd need bifocals because I almost always take my glasses off to read, fix knitting mistakes, thread needles, etc but Now I can't see the computer screen or the keyboard for that matter. I couldn't even read the recipe in my cookbook for tonight's dinner. I was told I would have 60 days to upgrade my cheap $540.00 glasses to bifocals and all I'll have to do is pay for the bifocal part and wait another three freaking weeks.

But wait, that's not all.

Today was my knitting circle at the local yarn shop and as I walked towards the shop door, strategically placed in the centre of the window, I see a sign stating the shop will be closing it's doors on December 22. WTF! This was the best yarn shop I have ever seen. I bought a fair bit of yarn and supplies there over the past 18 months it's been open and hoped that other knitters did too. I suspected this might happen when the owner bought a house in another town. I knew it was the beginning of the end when she opened a second yarn shop in that town. It was just such a shock to see that sign today. Guess I'll be going back to buying my yarn on line.
