To move to Parksville, BC. They get more hours of sunshine than anywhere else on The Island. They get considerably less rain than Port Alberni. They have a Steadman's that sells sock yarn and buttons. They get less precipitation than we do. They have a Thrifty's Grocery store. It doesn't rain so much there. They have a massive, two storey thrift store. They get less rain. They have a beautiful beach. It doesn't rain there for nine or ten months each year. They have lovely, big park. Even when it's pouring on the highway, as soon as you turn off for Parksville the rain stops. They have a White Spot Restaurant. Did I mention how little it rains there, compared to Port Alberni? Just think of all the outdoor spinning and knitting I could do in Parksville.

Life on Pender Island is good and its pretty dry here as well.
And Parksville is on the water. How could you go wrong? Go for it.
life is just a dream , but wishing is free
Parksville is nice, but I want to live on Salt Spring.
yes,do it and fast like Jeri says.
but you must have to make a stop here on your way there.
Do it...life goes by very quickly.
Next time I'm having a bad day, I'll remind myself that it is a lovely day in Parksville.
