I love knitting these felted bags. This one surprised me when I took it out of the washing machine. It had transformed from an ordinary knit bag into this hairy little monkey. I was going to keep this one but I'm not crazy about the colours so I'll be putting it on my craft market table next spring if it doesn't sell on Etsy this winter. The yarn is 60% Angora Goat Mohair and 40% Merino Wool. It is unbelievably soft.
I swear, I will never again attempt to knit such tiny things. The doll itself is 5" tall. My hands cramped up, I think I'm permanently cross eyed and my arthritic thumb is aching. However, I think my granddaughter is going to love this. She will be getting it for her 5th birthday in a week and a half.

super cute!
The doll clothes are so cool!
Charming stuff. I had thumb trouble too and got some cortisone shots and they help for a while and then the problem comes back. I am now taking Pynogenol twice a day (pine bark extract I heard about), available from Puritan.com, and my friend's husband started based on my recommendation, and we are both feeling a lot less arthritic pain. You might look into it.
I love the cradle purse!
They are really worth it, aren't they. I remember sewing matching outfits for Laura and Sara. It was rewarding just to see the looks on their faces.
Awwww! That doll's clothes are so cute! And the doll looks so happy - the smile never leaves her face, what a sweet disposition.
Hard to knit, but the doll-sized pieces are adorable! And your purses are so cute....
