until it gets closer to Christmas. Except for baking a few more Mince Tarts, this is it for my Christmas baking.
These are for DH and I to snack on while decorating the tree tonight.
These Buttertart Bars are my personal favourite. Maybe I should make more.......
The Nanaimo Bars are DD#1's personal favourite. Every year I make a batch to take to her annual Christmas Eve party but she never puts them out for her guests. I have visions of her and her family, in the master bedroom, sitting in the middle of the bed, scooping handfulls of Nanaimo Bars and stuffing them in their mouths.lol
It's going to be very difficult to leave all these goodies alone until the 25th.........well, maybe the 24th.........or the 23rd........

Mum had tarts to bring along with my tin of goodies and she forgot them. Otherwise you'd have even more leftover treats.
Yum! In Vancouver I had a friend who made us a batch of Nanaimo bars every year as a Christmas gift. I sure miss them, although one or two pieces would usually keep me to the next year. This is one thing I've never made because they are too dangerous to have around a whole tray full.
We been nibbling a bit at my christmas baking - it's too hard to deny yourself and the kids when it's so tempting...
I made your shortbread recipe, and they are ripening. Now I need to try those bars. I know this isn't about the tea cosy, but it's so cute back there.
I have no will power. I would be snacking already. They look yummy.
