Poor, poor kitty! Cats don't usually let us see this side of their nature. There is a place near our house in Las Vegas that has peacocks, and one time I saw one of them with his tail on full display parading back and forth in front of a persian looking cat, as if trying to gain favor. The cat just looked disdainful.

When my Brunswick was younger, he would spy an egret on the lawn, run to the sliders, whimper and squeak, oh oh oh, and make like oh he'd get him if I would just let him out. Right. He'd slink away when I opened the door.
