I hate snow. I hate perpetual rain too but at least I can drive in that. I remember when I was a little kid playing outside in a cardigan, on my birthday and that was in Ontario for goodness sake.

I found this odd looking shawl pattern, called Wingspan, and just had to knit it. It turned out to be just an odd looking scarf instead but it actually looks good wrapped around my neck and if today's weather keeps up I'll be needing it.

The blood is tossed and it seems like such a waste when the people sitting across the ward are having bags of blood put into them. The nurses always take my blood pressure before and after the procedure. This time my BP was high at first and I told the nurse it was from the stress of searching for somewhere to park the car since the lots were all full.

Yes, the scarf does look like tie-dye! and it's unusually beautiful!
Ontario is having it's first 25C day (after 2 days of torrential rain) - kind of surreal - nice but a shock to the system xxx

Snow? I may move north. I'm actually more comfortable with a real winter like there used to be here. Right now we're having this eerily early spring. In the past a warm break meant nothing -- snow was bound to come back. I don't think so now.

I think we in Northwest Ohio have seen the last of the snow. Spring is well underway. Not to worry, it'll get to you soon!

Did you see that the Prairies and East are having warm weather now? We were without power for over 13 hours on Monday but on a positive note that kept me off the computer and gave me lots of knitting time. Yah!
Today we are off to Victoria for my phlebotomy. I'll be taking my knitting along for the ride.

Can you donate the blood or is it tossed?
I went to get my hip x-rayed this afternoon but I couldn't find a parking space

although there were several empty spots marked Doctors Only. I'll try again Monday morning.

It's beautiful! The way the colors worked up is amazing, perfect for that pattern. Did you buy the specific yarn that went with the pattern? Send us that snow. Don't take any chances: box it up and send it here. With delivery confirmation.
