But it will be worth it in the end. This week we are having our sidewalks replaced. Yesterday the guys were using a backhoe and jackhammer to break up the old, cracked, 24" wide sidewalks. The noise was almost unbearable. A friend was supposed to come over and spin with me but I didn't think it would be fair to subject her to all that racket and canceled. This morning they are leveling the ground. I don't know what they will be doing this afternoon. I hope the concrete pouring will be soon. I'm going to write our initials in it. It's something I've always wanted to do. I have taken before pictures and will post them with the after pics when everything is done.
