Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians. DH and I will be heading over to Nanaimo to spend some time with family.

I love PBS and will defend it heartily. I am wishing you a happy day.
Oh, that's right. I always forget your Thanksgiving is around this time. When I lived in Vermont it was almost an extra holiday because there were so many Canadians who came down to go shopping. The Big Bird thing is because Mitt Romney said in the debate that if he is elected President, he will do away with the subsidy to public television, home of Big Bird.
Very pertinent considering the recent Presidential debate!
