No, I didn't spell it wrong. That's what the designer calls this shawl pattern.
I recently finished the Glam Shells Shawl by Marisa Hernandez. It's a free pattern I found on Ravelry. I'm not very happy with it. I used my handspun which is a bit thicker than the fingering weight called for in the pattern. I did use bigger needles to compensate but I don't think they were big enough. I also didn't block it enough and the colours overpower the lace design. Is there anything I do like about it? Yes! I spun the yarn from a blend of Vancouver Island grown organic Romney, mohair and silk and it is so pettabley soft.

It is still very pretty.
I think it is beautiful and would please most anyone. It is glamorous.
It is lovely and your misgivings should not translate into selling it for less because few buyers know the difference. Or, I dare say, would have the same view of it that you do.
Spinning your own yarn! Sounds wonderful!
I cooked Harvard Beets for years until Donna came along and pointed out that the person who posted the recipe probably meant "harvest" beets. But a glam is a glam.... maybe it's Canadian! Interesting google tho... music among other returns.
It looks really pretty to me, I think it's perfect.
