Here We Go Again

This morning I received an e-mail from a lady who wanted to order some patterns. She was quite concerned that I would be snail mailing my patterns to her in South America. In the message, her English was impeccable so I guess she was only looking at the pictures because this is the title for the listing:
Ribbons & Lace Christening Gown PDF Pattern

and this is the description:
This beautiful, lace Christening gown with matching bonnet and booties pattern is a perfect match to my Shetland Lace Shawl pattern, also sold in this shop. Destined to become an heirloom to be passed on to future generations.
Step by step instructions and illustrations.
This pattern is a 3 month size, however, the yoke ribbon can be adjusted to fit a larger or smaller baby.

I check my e-mails frequently throughout the day and as soon as I see your order I will e-mail this pattern to you.

Please read my shop policies before ordering.

Another lady e-mailed, all in a panic. She had lost the pattern she thought she might have bought from my shop and wanted me to send her another one. She couldn't remember what the pattern was called or looked like and if she had bought it, it would have been about a year ago. Fortunately for her I keep excellent records and found she had made the purchase last April. I sent her another copy and later she e-mailed that she had found the original pattern in her computer.

At the Library, I've had people ask me to type for them, write their job cover letter, blame me for a change to Hotmail that makes it more difficult to print an email, shred their personal documents and then there is the guy who has been coming for months now to look at porn on the computers. Even after being asked to leave once, warned a few times, told not to shut off computer, he still comes nearly every day! Some requests are just unreasonable, so they are refused. Like shredding a pile of your documents (a few, yup, I'd do that)

Good for you and your record-keeping! Some folks with seemingly perfectly working brains turn incompetent when faced with digital issues. It's a mystery....

It reminds me of trying to coach my elderly uncle through downloading attachments from emails. The phone would ring, it'd be him, and I'd think Just shoot me now. He never ever succeeded at it because he didn't keep track of where the documents got saved to.

It is a real bummer when these things happen. Lucky that you and Angel
are patient.

Some people just don't/can't pay attention to what they are doing. Happens all the time!

all business's have customers that question you to the full. The best one i can recall was one that came into my butcher shop and asked me if i could weigh a side of beef that she had bought else where so she could be certain that she got the correct weigh, told her where to go POLITELY
