This is Mr Puss. He's a little bigger than Miss Puss, whose ears only come up to Mr Puss' eyes. Speaking of eyes, I found these in my vintage button jar. It's the buttons and not the jar that are vintage.....although, the jar is pretty old. I also have an antique button box. Both the buttons and the box are antiques. DH's mother gave them to me. The box is filled with white shirt buttons that are so old they have turned yellow and cracked. I believe they may be made out of bone instead of modern plastic. I suspect she was given the antique box of antique buttons by her mother who also could not find a use for them. I think I'll give them to my eldest daughter.
