Cat Costumes

There weren't as many good cat costumes as there were outfits for dogs. Probably because when you try to dress up a cat you usually get this reaction:

tolerance for costumes depends on the animal ... Brunswick seems to go along with almost anything. Max mistrusts everything including food and circles the dish like it was a trap. Chewy will do anything for food. I, of course, don't lately have the energy to invent costumes for my animals. They don't seem to mind being ignored on this issue. But I do love these photos.

I can't even imagine trying to dress up a cat. Meow, spit, scratch.

I love the cat sitting in the chair. I don't know how the owner managed to get the kitty to sit still long enough to snap the picture.

My favorite was scuba diver cat. Ruth has costumes for all her cats.

Okay, that black cat? The one with the tentacles? He's just sitting in front of them; they aren't even attached to him. Can't fool a cat person.
