Busy Summer
Today I'm washing a fleece for the first time. It's a beautiful Bluefaced Leicester fleece. I currently smell like a barnyard. Sorry, no photos. DH has taken some grandkids and DD#2 to a wildlife rescue centre and he took the camera with him. He also took my car and I've run out of dish detergent, a very necessary item when washing fleece. Oh well, I may be washing this fleece again next week.

My fleece looks just like this picture I found on the web. All those different colours are from the same sheep.
I've discovered there is a Crafter's Market in town. It's every Sunday from 9:00 - 2:00 and only costs $10.00 a day for a table. I'll be there selling my wares beginning June 5th. I hope I sell something. I expect to have lots of skeins of hand dyed wool as well as all my hand knit items.
I've made seven skiens of wool and will be dyeing it this coming week.
Next Sunday is the First Annual 100 Mile Fleece and Fibre Sale for the Gulf and Vancouver Islands. Kim and Mom and DH and I and DH's wallet will be in attendance.
Ah yes! This summer is shaping up to being a busy one for me.
