Blogging for the Sake of Blogging

I don't really have much to say. We had a nice, quiet Christmas. Dinner, the usual turkey and trimmings, was perfection, if I say so myself. We received a lot of chocolaty gifts and I for one am totally chocolated out. I have more than a full pan of chocolate fudge left over and half a pan of chocolate brownies. We got two tins of Purdy's chocolates and a box of Pot of Gold chocolates. I'm not even going to mention the chocolate Santa left in our stockings. If I see one more chocolate I'm going to throw up.
Angel has been up chucking every other day or so but she's otherwise behaving normaly; shredding gift wrap, playing hockey with bows and hiding under the larger sheets of gift wrap. I suspect it's the rusty, sap laden tree water that's upsetting her tummy....stupid cat.
I thought it might be nice if I could finish every knitting project I started this year, before January 1st and I tried my best but it just ain't gonna happen. I have one adult sock, one baby sweater and the matching baby socks, one baby blanket (my design), one felted purse that needs a needle felted picture and those bloody slippers that were stolen by a USPS employee to finish knitting.
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.

Good Christmas here in Texas...a wonderful meal at Bevan's aunt's home. She was gracious enough to include me and her table was gorgeous. She had name tags for everyone and poppers with which we all had a lot of fun.

Cats have nothing to molest here. Keep chocolate away from Angel, it's toxic for cats and dogs. Otherwise, sorry she's been poorly. Would love to OD on chocolate for a change. Sounds like a good Christmas, yes?

I think she's finally stopped drinking the tree water. Yesterday the ties on the tree skirt were still tied and it all looked undisturbed. What does she use her water bowl for? Why, it's her paw washer. Surely you can't expect her to drink out of a bowl that has used kitty litter in the bottom of it.

I suppose one could get overdosed on chocolate. I'd like to try. I once worked in a fudgecicle factory (teen) and nearly over did it!

I just can't eat chocolate like I used to but that's a good thing.

My little home is littered with cheery cat toys: bows, balls of wrapping paper and tissue paper, and empty boxes which are now cat hiding and napping places. The "toys" are slowing disappearing, which means Winnie and Pooh have slid and bounced and hockeyed them under the furniture. When I retrieve them all, it will be Christmas Day all over again.

I have strict instructions NOT to clean up the crumpled balls or large sheets of gift wrap. However, I am allowed to pick up the bits and pieces Angel has torn off and spit out.

There was a little video on MSN.com home page, a cat named Mr. Jingles molesting a Christmas village. I wanted to send you a link because it reminded me of Angel, but couldn't find it again.

If our Christmas Village wasn't up high on the mantle, I'm sure Angel would molest it.
