It seems Canada has adopted the American Black Friday but we call it Black Frid-eh.

Some businesses have already discovered that Black Friday and now Grey Thursday don't actually help sales in the long run. Maybe opening on Thursday will burn itself out relatively quickly.

My microwave door cracked, so we could be out there right now buying a replacement, but we're afraid of the crowds. I think we're going to go anyway pretty soon.
I really think they should wait until Friday instead of encroaching on the holiday on Thursday night as ours has begun to do.
