Two heads are better than one. I found a friend to keep Katrina company. I found out, through the grape vine, that Pier 1 stocked glass heads and best of all, it was on sale!
We finally put up some Halloween decorations. Two lifelike crows and some black netting. A skeleton has been added since the photo was taken.
This picture was taken with a telephoto lens from a great distance, across the room. This big fella is no decoration. I told DH to run and get the vacuum cleaner while I kept a beady eye on the intruder. After DH sucked him up, I vacuumed the rest of the house.
Now I'm wondering where the rest of his family is.

Oh geez, that spider looks real. I am terrified of spiders.
I've got my own life-like crows here, but they won't sit still for pictures. That spider is really creepy, as big as a mouse thanks to telephoto.
Lots of people decorating around here. We are a magnet for kids from other areas because we're such a cozy place and the houses are close to each other and parents feel their kids are safe here (except when they schmooze with pals and forget about their toddlers, who then wander in the middle of the road and even a car going 10 miles an hour can crush a kid). Nice pix.
I hate spiders but stick him in the black netting for a life like touch! Love the decorations. The black net makes a great bat.
