Smooshed into the biggest carton I could find in the house are the 52 hats I knit for a local service club to include in the shoe boxes of toiletries and essentials they make up for a local shelter at Christmas time.

A tour de force of hattery! The needy will love you for it.
Been busy, have you?
That is a really nice thing to know that there will be a warm hat for someone who would otherwise be cold.
Cath has been making beanies for all the family , and she's gone chrochering mad
When I lived in my other town we, too would knit hats and scarves for the needy, along with providing other things. Great job!
How fun Marg. my friend and I make hats and scarves for local shelters and recovery homes too and we occasionally run into someone wearing them when we are out. A look passes between us, a smile forms, we stand a little taller and are proud to NOT be able to say "I made that hat for you". It makes the day brighter, doesnt it?!?
How fun! I'll bet you are thrilled to be done. An elderly friend of mine makes hats for the rescue mission in Las Vegas, and one time there was a murder, and watching the lovcal news coverage, she recognized one of her hats on a bystander who was on the sidelines of the crime scene.
Geez.. you really like to knit! I mean REEAAALLLLYY!
