Yesterday's Craft Market

Bore bored BORING! The weather was cold and damp. The customers were few and not very chatty. The sales were depressing. I bought a nice apron from another vendor shortly before the market closed for the day and she told me I was her first sale. I only made one sale in the five hours too. I also bought my essential oils to wash my wool in. I bought one lavender and one red cedar. I did some research and apparently, moths don't like either scent. I don't blame them with the red cedar but the lavender will make my yarn smell nice. On the bright side, I did get a lot of spinning done.
Next Sunday the weather forecast is for sunny and warm. Let's hope that doesn't change.

I love the smell of lavender. I still buy Yardley's English Lavender bath
soap.

Didn't Yardley make a rose scented soap? It smelled heavenly. I can't use anything perfumed any more. Gives me a rash.

Too bad about the slow market. Hope good weather next weekend will make up for it.

I honestly don't think we'll see any sunshine on a Sunday until July when summer weather begins. Here's hoping for some chatty tourists with pockets full of cash.

Not so good when a vendor's only sale is to another vendor. Better luck next time!

I had a real customer. She was looking at my purple Striped Hoody with matching booties, mitts and teddy bear for a while and just when I thought she was going to buy the set, she walked away. Ten minutes later she was back for it. I guess she didn't want to commit until she'd seen what else was for sale at the market but I'm not fussy. I'll sell to anyone.

I'm so sorry. We all had great hopes for the next time, and now we'll have great hopes for the upcoming next time. I love the smell of red cedar when we cut down one of those trees, but am not sure about having it as an essential oil, might be too strong. I bought two bottles of peppermint oil because it was supposed to repel mice, and it didn't work, so now don't know what to do with them.

Use it at Christmas time. Too bad there isn't a hot chocolate essential oil to go with it.
