These look olive green but they are actually brown fingerless gloves.

My toasty, warm, felted slippers. They dried a bit wonky but they fit me.

DH and I spent a lovely afternoon walking along the beaches at Parksville and Qualicum. Also stopped for a yummy lunch at the French Creek Pub.

I tried wearing fingerless gloves when I worked as a florist. They were great until they got wet. Now, if you could water proof them, you'd be on to a winner!

If they were wool they should still keep your hands warm. You could have sprayed them with a water repellent.

Very nice. I love the color of the slippers - makes me think of spring. What did you put them on to dry? Or did you just shape them and hope they'd stay?

I put them on my feet. I don't have much feeling in them so the dampness wasn't too bad but just in case, I got a good book to read and climbed into bed under a warm comforter. That helped shape them to my foot. Then I left them on the air ducts until the next day.

Love your slippers. Wish Ed would make time for fun stuff like walking on a beach. You're lucky to share times like that with DH.

As much as I complain, I wouldn't trade him for anyone else.....not even Vin Diesel.

Love fingerless gloves - used them all the time when I was dog walking.
