Don is worse than I am when it comes to Halloween candy. Last year we had 24 costumed kiddies at the door and this year hubby buys two, yes, TWO 90 piece boxes of mini candy bars. We hand out two bars each so that means he's expecting 90 kids to appear at our door??? I think his sweet tooth interfered with his reasoning, not to mention his math skills.lol

Too bad we had to wake up to chip bags and candy wrappers strewn across the sidewalk in front off our house, a pop can sitting on top of our hedge and a hole in the middle of it. Looks like a big kid got pushed over onto the hedge. I'm all for turning off all our lights and putting the electric pumpkin in mothballs next year but I expect Don's sweet tooth with win out in the end and Halloween will progress as usual.



Fall Back
To top off the start of a bad day, we forgot to change our clocks and got up an hour early. Who is that moron who claims we get an extra hour of sleep in the fall? I want to punch him in the face. Apparently there is a petition going around to end Daylight Savings Time in BC. Where do I sign?
