Feathered Lace Christening Gown & More

My newest design, Feathered Lace Christening Gown, is finally up for sale in my Etsy shop.

It took me a few months to make this one and I did run into a few problems. So, I would take a little break and knit something else to clear my mind. Apparently I ran into four problems.

The colour is off on both cowls. They are a much warmer brown and beige.

The cowls and socks will go on my craft table at the market and will, hopefully, be sold by the end of the month.

Compared to what you turn out, I'm ashamed to call what I do knitting. There should be a term to indicate superlative knitting, Knit-ti-que (that last is pronounced KAY), and as the practitioner, you are the knittiqueista. You can say to people, "Oh, my no. I'm not merely a knitter, I'm a knitti-Kay-EESTA. There is a huge difference between the two." and then sniff loudly in disdain.

Had to bite my tongue today when, as I sat there spinning, a mother told her child, "Oh look, she's making wool. I have learned mothers do not appreciate being corrected when they are giving their children misinformation. After the 27th I can relax. The craft market starts up again in May.
