A prisoner in my own home. That's how I feel. I am house bound for the next four days. Don had to leave for Vancouver this morning but his truck wouldn't start so he took my car instead. Now I'll need to make do with the food in the house and I'll have to cancel my hair appointment too. I thought about walking to the grocery store but it's pouring outside and the forecast calls for rain for the next week.
I have knit a few things since my last post.
A purple hoody and matching mitts for my granddaughter
A multi coloured cowl for sale
Three pairs of elegant fingerless mitts in 100% Alpaca for sale
Fingerless gloves also 100% Alpaca for sale
Fingerless mitts to use up the leftover Alpaca for sale
A multitude of natural and coloured owl slippers for sale
A Cowichan style toque for sale
Another Salish Sea toque for sale
The Honey Cowl I'm keeping
My new green, 100% Wool tweed coat
Last but not least is this bulky knit, 100% Wool cowl for sale
While locked in the house I will have lots to keep me busy. A lady in Belgium contacted me on Sunday to ask if I could spin up another 200 grams of Keeshond dog hair to match the skein she bought from me in October. I hope she sends me pictures of what she's making with it.

Wow! Is your stash dwindling???
Wow, what an output. I know the feeling that when you can't go anywhere, you want to. I love the blues/greens in this group.
You're on a blue streak! Cool colours for this cold weather... Your tweed jacket looks so cozy and I always love your native touques.
No wonder we haven't heard from you in awhile.
I think Donna is making me fingerless gloves like those above.
Very nice items. Fingerless gloves and mittens make more sense now than ever, with people's touchscreen phones that won't work (unless you use a stylus) without something organic to write or type with. I find it a pain to take off my gloves to change the song on my ipod while I'm walking.
So so talented!!! I'm sorry you are stuck at home though, that's a bummer...
