Today's Cooking Disaster

did not happen! Primarily because DH had a dinner meeting to attend so I didn't have to cook. The water in the kettle was boiled to perfection for my instant coffee. (I really should start looking for a new coffee maker.) Have I ever mentioned how much I hate to cook?

I also love to cook. The only thing I really suck at though is making pasta -- always get stuck together. I add EVOO to the water and everything but still comes out a mess. So annoying.

I used to like to cook, and thought I was going to test recipes for my cookbook (I have all the possibles in a huge database) during the winters in Las Vegas, but nothing doing - we eat out a lot and I don't want to invest in all those groceries and condiments.

Oh gosh, I love cooking. I get rid of my angst when I'm chopping something up or beating a chicken breast into submission

I don't mind cooking if I don't have to do it everyday, but I sure like to buy the supermarket roast chickens - everyone at our house loves them. And frozen pizza. And sandwiches. And "breakfast for supper"...
