As I had my second Osteoarthritis class tonight we will be going out for dinner at Little Bavaria, Tuesday night. DH says if we take home half our meal in doggy bags we'll have room for dessert. Black Forest Cake here I come.

From the toe-up I like doing the gussets with M1's forming the gussets and a semi-short row heel. This looks most like the gusset and turning heel that is done for traditional top-down socks. I have the book "socks a la cart 2 -toe up" and it has several gussets and heels, I am with you I don't like the pointy heel.

Thanks. They are toe-up socks. Have you made toe-ups? I can't seem to get rid of the pointy heels. They are VERY pointy when not on the sock blockers.

It looks as though no one forgot that it was both Valentine's Day and your anniversary. They scheduled a class on Valentine's Day? Hard to believe.

If I had been positive there would be another course I could take later, I would have. I can't believe the number of kids' sports that schedule games for Mother's Day.

My older granddaughter, who just turned 13, is now wearing a size 11 shoe. She is shooting up in height too. Is now taller than I. I think she is going to be close to 6 feet. Amazing!
