Oh! That's lovely! And especially the fire tanker Port Alberni Farewell. Sad to say, I'd have been like you - my first reaction on seeing the hordes descending was Run! Save yourself!
that is a good one Marg. the town was well prepared for the visit just like Adelaide when the cruze ship Queen Elizabth calls , a trip to the wineries always a must. As far as the market goes the passengers probably run on a timetable, just long enough to possibly spend a dollar
