I'm becoming a local celebrity. I'll have to start wearing sun glasses and a big hat when I go out in public. Shaw Cable came to our local yarn shop on the 14th and taped a promo to be shown on our local cable channel. The 14th was also a Wednesday, when the knitting circle meets at the shop. My back made it into a few of the shots and my knitting hands were also shown. Then I found this in today's paper:
I turned my head just at the wrong time but that's me at the other end of the table, in the dark, V-neck top, head turned to my left. Four of my purple hats are on the table.
Don't be surprised if you see me being interviewed on one of those late night talk shows soon.
I picked up my car this morning and got thoroughly soaked in two separate downpours. It wasn't raining when I left the house but it's a half hour walk to the auto mechanic's.
