Missing My Wheels
Before we went on vacation, Aug 3rd, my engine light came on. I told DH, who is in charge of all things vehicular, and he took it in to the dealership. The fellow told DH (hopefully, after he checked the engine) that it's probably the thermostat and if the check engine light doesn't go out in a few days to bring it back and he'll fix it. Well, the light never went out and we finally got around to taking it in on Monday night. The fellow said the engine had to be cold when he looked at it for some reason or other. Tuesday DH called to find out if it was fixed yet and the fellow told him he needed to order some parts and that the car would be ready for pick up on Thursday, noon. This morning they called and said the the gasket didn't come with the rest of the parts. It would be in around one o'clock and my car would be ready by two or two thirty. At four my phone rang but only twice so I figured it was a wrong number. At 4:35 it rang again, twice but I thought I could hear the upstairs phone ringing so I answered it anyway. The poor receptionist had called six times trying to get hold of me to let me know my car was ready. We get our phone service from a Shaw Cable package and someone at Shaw must have pushed the wrong button because now our phones aren't working proberly. At first I thought it was the phone but we have three of them and they are all messed up. It was too late to go pick up my car so I'll get it tomorrow. I need to mail off my sister's birthday present asap and I missed my Wednesday knitting circle. I miss my wheels.
