Meeting Schmeeting

After a day of vacuuming, polishing, scrubbing, tidying and baking I am relegated to the basement for the duration of DH's secret society meeting. I expect they will be discussing how to make more money for worthy charities, vacations and which wine tastes the best with my lemon loaf. Actually, all I ever hear is the fellows mumbling punctuated by high pitched ladies laughter. I hope they don't guzzle all the wine and devour all the lemon loaf.

You have to get a buzz when DH shows off your work to his fellow members and when they eat your lemon loaf, which as it happens, sounds delicious

It's coed but you don't get to be there? Secret handshake? Put his hands in warm water when he's sleeping and see if he'll divulge some secrets. How is our little Angel cat? I was thinking of him today, how he really would look like an angel compared to what Buddy has been up to.

Angel would be miffed if she saw you referring to her as a he. She bit a meeting attendee on his toe. He must have tried to touch her belly.

My contribution is the 52 hats I knit for them to distribute to the needy. I was tickled pink when DH came scurrying downstairs to grab the carton of hats to show off to those at the meeting.
