It's 5:05 am and I'm still awake. It's actually not too bad. DH is out of town so I can make as much noise as I want. I could even do some vacuuming.....if I wanted to....which I don't....but I could.

I've put a new pattern in my Etsy and Craftsy shops. Last year I wanted to knit myself a pair of barefoot sandals but I couldn't find a knitting pattern for love nor money, just lots of crocheted patterns, so I tweaked a pattern for panjas (East Indian hand jewelry) and ended up with this:



I received numerous requests for the pattern but as I had used someone else's pattern I had to turn them all down.
This year I made up my own simple pattern that can be embellished with buttons, charms, artificial or yarn made flowers.





Now I need to look through my pattern books and find a pretty, lace pattern I can adapt for them.

I finally finished my Aran pullover. I knit it with oh so soft Berroco Ultra Alpaca; 50% wool/50% alpaca.

A lady at the craft market likes it so much she wants me to knit one, exactly the same, for her. My sweater fits me to a T and I love it's cuddly softness. As a result, I am expecting a heat wave any day now.

Speaking of the craft market, no know-it-all mother shouted, "Oh look Honey! She's making wool." as I sat spinning. However, I did get some ignorant cow who, when her friend pointed out my basket of dishcloths, shouted, "I hate those!" How rude.

Holey Cow! The sun's coming up already. I'm still not the least bit tired. I guess I should go do something productive. Maybe I'll vacuum....maybe not.
