DH specifically asked for brown socks for Christmas so I bought a ball of brown...ish wool and knit him his socks. Now, there seems be be an awful lot of green in these socks so I'm not sure if he'll like them. He did tell me which pants he wanted to wear with the socks but I was ticked off that he didn't want the burgundy ones I was knitting for him at the time, so I wasn't listening. I've bought another ball of brown wool and it is all brown. Not solid but different shades of brown. He'll be getting both pairs of socks for Christmas. I suppose next he'll be complaining about not having any room in his sock drawer. If so, I have the perfect solution. For his birthday I'll give him a cardboard box to store his socks in. Sometimes it's Hell living with a perfectionist.
I'll post a picture of the next pair when they're done. I'm knitting as fast as I can.

Ed is lucky if I get around to sewing a button on his pants. He tries to shame by saying he'll have to take them to a tailor. So I do get to it. The tyranny of expectations.
