Angel! ANGEL! AAAANGEL! Hmm...where could she be? I can't find her anywhere. AAAANGEL! Maybe she went outside. Oh well, I guess she'll come home when she gets hungry.

I miss cat love.
Her coat is beautiful and I have to admit she does not look like she has missed any meals. I love how you can call and call and they will just watch you walk by and never utter a sound. Most of my cats are strictly indoor but I have two that still like being outside but I can't go to bed at night until they are inside. I have coyotes that roam in the woods behind my house at night.
Other cats we've had liked to hide in paper bags and under blankets, but not Eloise. Today she caught a mouse she's been waiting for that was under the clothes washer. She let it get away, and then she was guarding the last place she saw it in the living room by the heat register. It finally came out, and she was playing with it for awhile, but I noticed it wasn't moving, so scooped it up and threw it toward the river. Sink or swim.
I can't get to sleep until I know the cats are indoors and safe. Was Angel really lost?
