Handkerchief Cardi Progress

I'm on the home stretch, headed for the finish line and I think this one is a winner. I'm just finishing off the 3/4 length sleeves while the back is drying on my blocking board. Unfortunately, the yarn is a cotton blend and cotton takes ages to dry. I still have the two front pieces and the sleeves to block not to mention stitching it all together.Good thing I'm in no rush for it.

The bottom of the back is on your left and the top is on your left. Maybe it'll be easier to visualize if I just turn it around.

Maybe not.

I have to admit to knowing absolutely nothing, about this process of knitting. It looks and sounds, a trifle too much for me, lol.
I love the garment - the colour is smashing

It should look very good when all finished. I have trouble visualizing.

I'll be posting a photo of it when it's done.

Wow, those strings going off the sides of the bed there, some serious torsioning going on. You could really teach me a lot about blocking knitted things.

Blocking wires, $20.00.
Blocking board, $150.00.
Professional looking finished garments, priceless.

Looks like a math project to me.

More of a linguistics project. Scandinavian pattern translated by someone who don't speak English good. It had me stumped a couple of times but apparently I'm good at guessing.
