Deceitful Dauphin, Manitoba has had 1,500 fraudulent e-mail votes removed from their count. You would think that allowing them to vote every 12 hours would be enough for them. Hopefully they won't be able to make it up honestly. I think they should be disqualified from the contest altogether.

The person who came up with the idea for this contest is Carolyn Jasken, a Port Alberni resident.
Sport fishermen are hauling in chinook salmon in the 40 to 50+ lb range. For the first time, ever, I'm looking forward to this year's Salmon Festival.

Sounds great. You can keep me company while DH peddles tickets for whatever they're raffling off this year. I think this years winner is going to be one monster of a fish. Are we still going to the Nanaimo Fibre Festival?
