Dyed and Plied

I didn't think this was going to work out but I'm happy with the end result. I bought superwash wool with nylon rovings to spin.

I dyed half of it black and the other half.....well, it came out of the dye pot mostly green. I need more practice with dying.

I'm currently in the process of plying the two together to make some sock yarn for myself. I might even enter it in the Fall Fair this year.

Both the materials and your spinning wheel are nice to look at. Do you ever make how-to videos for this?

Thanks.
There are a gazillion how to card/spin/dye videos on YouTube. They don't need another one.

The yarns are beautiful. Is that really black? I thought I saw navy highlights.

It's only in the photo that I can see navy blue. I had to dye that sucker THREE times to get it pitch black.

I predict warm and toasty feet for the winter.
