Today's stint at the Crafters Market was a bust. The weather was lovely and people were out in droves but they just weren't buying today. Oh well, so I paid ten bucks to sit and spin and knit and best of all, people watch. Maybe I'll strike it rich next Sunday.
Last week DH and I found a shelter on sale so now I can take my place in Spirit Square with the rest of the pros instead of being hidden away at the back where the only people who passed by were headed for the public washrooms. It's 10'X10' and I can set up as many tables and displays as I want within that space.
No one brought me any pet hair, although the chatty lady next to me said she has two long haired cats she will be brushing soon.
A new addition to my table is this set of felted bowls.
Before Felting.
After felting.
These bowls are for my livingroom. I specificly knit them in colours to match.

I'm working on another lamb. His name is Lester, B. F. Lester(spinners joke).

Having few buyers happens to my daughter and SIL at the Farmers Market. Infuriating.
Your set-up is looking very professional. Too bad there aren't more shoppers, but at least the cost to have a table isn't too high. I've started collecting dog hair and K has set up an appointment for T to be groomed on Thursday. I'll ask him to see if the groomer will collect the hair after she's done.
Hope you sell in your new location. It sounds like fun anyway.
Nice booth!
Yay for the shelter. What does that bring your overall investment up to?
The felting process certainly makes them beautiful. Glad you have shade and shelter.
Those bowls are beautiful. Now that we know the extent of your weather situation (very rainy) I'm starting to understand how you have so much time for knitting, but still, your hands must be a blur.
