From this chrysalis will emerge a beautiful lace shawl.....someday. Right now I'm on row 129 of 160. Only 31 rows left to knit BUT I started with 8 stitches and the shawl grows as the stitches increase. Row 129 has 608 stitches. It takes a good 30 minutes of total peace and concentration to knit just one row now. Row 160 will have 704 stitches in it. With luck I might finish it around the end of this month. I need a t-shirt that says, "Don't bother me. I'm knitting."

I am making real progress on this sweater I've been working on for a couple of years now, and I'm having a good time working on it, so that's all I want to do: knit. The other necessities of life like cooking and cleaning are getting minimal attention until I get this done. Sometimes I have the laptop on my lap, reading MyBloggers posts while I knit a few stitches at the same time.
oh I thought this was going to be about wine. There is a winery by this name near me...
Can't wait to see the finished product.
