H O T Cat!

Hot hubby. Hot me. Tomorrow is Craft Market day but I won't be there. Environment Canada is forecasting a high of 35C/95F.

I went out earlier today when it was 33C/91F. I wasn't ourside for long. I wanted to steal Margaret Hamilton's line from The Wizard of Oz, "I'm melting! I'm melting!"

This is the thermostat for our heat pump. Inside temp is 23C/73F. Outside temp is registering at 38C/100F. It registers high because the unit is on the sunny side of the house.

If DH wants me to go anywhere over the next two days, he will have to drag me, kicking and screaming, out of my nice cool house.

Yes, living with the a/c -- our bill this month was close to the national debt. But worth it. Stay cool.

Cool at night, Ha! It might get down to 90 by morning.

Wow! I didn't realize it got that hot in your neck of the woods. Good luck with that.

I'll bet you are glad you got that heat pump. Sweet Angel.

It was warm (ha) here today too, but the breeze made it bearable. I didn't even put air conditioners in the window this year. I figure if it doesn't get cool at night we go to the RV with its 14,500BTU a/c. But that's the beauty of the country: it cools off a night!
