Canada Post
Canada Post is living down to my expectations. On March 30th I placed an order for almost $100.00 worth of needles and fibre from Knit Picks, in the US. I was notified that my order was mailed on April 3rd and notified again when it entered Canada's postal system on April 9th. At this time I was given a tracking number which showed my parcel to be nonexistent by Canada Post. When I checked the tracking number on the 10th Canada Post indicated they received my parcel on the 10th and the "Expected Delivery Date" was April 12th. No parcel arrived on the 12th or the 13th or the 16th. Today I see the "Expected Delivery Date" has been changed to April 19th and the reason for this is, "Item was received by Canada Post after cut-off time." Why don't they just admit my parcel fell under the sorting table and wasn't found for a week? I won't even be here when the parcel is due to arrive so I'll have to wait until the 20th to go to the post office and pick it up. That will be a total of three weeks I've been waiting for my parcel. I'm looking forward to the day a genius but disgruntled Canada Post customer invents a transporter. I sincerely hope Canada Post doesn't see this article until after I have my parcel in my hot little hands. I should mention that the last time I place an order with Knit Picks Canada Post employees went on strike the very next day.
