The upstairs bathroom is about to be renovated. The house was built in the mid 1960's which makes it about 50 years old. Judging from the horror that was revealed when Don took down the big mirror over the sink I'd say the estimated age is spot on. The counter and lower cupboards will be gone. The long, upper storage cupboard will be gone. The Hollywood light fixture...gone. The counter top, sink and tap set...gone and best of all, the pepto bismol pink paint on the walls will be just an unpleasant memory.
I'm not looking forward to showering in the rinky dink shower stall in the downstairs bathroom but it will be worth it in the end.

Couldn't see Angel ... awww. We're doing a big project too and have in past couple of years relined our pool and before that put pavers on the pool deck. Happy with it all but so much remains to be done -- like a kitchen update and a bathroom update. We'll see. Post "after" photos please. And give Angel a picture all her own if you will.

No pain yet. I'm just so glad to see the old stuff gone. I've been waiting 33 years to do this reno.
