As I have been inundated with queries as to who that beautiful baby in my avatar is, I will tell you. It's me at five weeks of age (May 1951). I suspect it was my first photo op as the camera flash attachment for indoor pictures was a rather pricey item in those days and I understand Montreal in 1951 was exceptionally cold.
Here I am with my Nana, Mom and Old Sister.
My next photo was taken around August 1951. Oh, look at that! I'm getting some hair.
OK, here I am at just over a year. It's only a guess as there is nothing written on the back of the photo but I'm still in diapers and my hair is a year longer.
I'll be back later. DD#1 needs a study buddy.

awww...how cute. the pic in the middle looks a little like me as a bambino...only I had less hair. Didn't get much til I was almost three.
