I have wanted the Jumbo Bobbin for my Traditional for a while now. I found it frustrating that the standard bobbin, which came with the wheel, held so little yarn, in spite of Ashford claiming it will hold 100g. I could never get more than 75g on it. I'm not sure just how much the Jumbo holds but the one in the photo below sucked up two standard bobbins that had been jam packed full and there is still a little room for some more.
Treadling the Traditional with the Jumbo Bobbin and accommodating Jumbo Flyer is considerably more difficult. I hadn't expected to have to give my thigh muscles such a workout. It will be awkward but I may have to start alternating my feet for treadling. If not, I can just see myself with massive, muscular calf and thigh but only on my right leg. :o{

I am doing leg exercises wearing 5-lb. weight on each ankle. Maybe you could bring the other leg up to speed by doing the same. Or not.
That's such a pretty spinning wheel, can't wait to see the new one when it's done.
I can see the workout video now!
I can just picture one normal leg and one buffed up one! Don't let Angel help.
More spinning and less skeining! maybe both feet at the same time?
