This is the fourth and final pair of Cowichan Style slippers I've knit this month. My hands hurt. Knitting with such thick yarn builds muscle. I'll bet I could pinkie wrestle Randy and I'd win.
DH's black and grey Owl Slippers.
I do have a little of the black and grey wool left over. Maybe I'll knit a hat with it.

Those are so cool. Your family must love all the nice stuff you make them.
Thanks Marg. Donna headed up to her daughter's for a few days but I saved your comment and the link in email.
I think I'll forget the socks and knit some Indian slippers for the Seniors Craft Fair, it will be faster and they do look cozy.
Geez.. if they are warm I'll have to get Donna to make me a pair for the winter! She just finished making a "dress" for the kitchen dish washing soap bottle. It's a bit too long, but she'll get it figured out. Did you get the pattern for the slippers for free, and is it adjustable for size? I wear about a 12 shoe (depending on where I buy them these days).
Am I the "Randy" you're referring to? If so, you're on!!!!!!!!! I'm thinking about a trip out to Blaine WA to see my nephew. I'll be close by.
