I had three balls of Patons Classic Wool but they were all different colours so I knit a tote bag using 2 strands together. Sometimes the strands were the same colour and sometimes they were not. I even found a matching ceramic button in my stash. There is no pattern. I just knit it on the fly.
DH and I went down to Harbour Quay last night to hear the band that plays every Wednesday. We sit and I knit while listening to some terrific music. From the looks of the rest of the audience we are now officially of the geriatric set.

Really great looking bag. The only time I knit a sweater, a good (talented knitter) friend helped me through with a multi-colored yarn. It gave the impression that I really knew what I was doing. The sweater was a success and I've never done that again.
Beautiful bag - I would call it "Sunset Over Water"
Way to go marg, Cath takes her crochet every where to appointments with docs , gets lots of comments and others saying --I wish I could do that. Welcome to the geriatric SET , hey were not all dead and still enjoy a good time out
What a lovely bag! I love variegated yarns, just to see how the design comes out. I don't ever think of doing two together, so will try to remember that.
What fun!I have to applaud the couple on the left!
Looks like fun, and cute bag!
Doesn't look like a geriatric band. I'd go listen.
