Yesterday Was a Bust
I had so many things that needed to be done; talk to the vet, pick up some canned cat food, grocery shopping, Zellers, walk the track, laundry and last but not least knit. I had my day all planned out. First I knit, then I walk the track, after my shower I head to the vet's to let her know how Peaches is doing and buy some canned cat food for his evening treat. From the vet's I would drive downtown to Zellers as they have the four pack of Brita filters, a carton of printer paper on sale and a few other things I wanted to pick up. Upon leaving Zellers I would head home, stopping at Safeway for the groceries. When I got home I would still have time to knit some more on the pink shawl I'm making for my October granddaughter, tentatively named Danica. I got in my walk and shower but when I left the house for the vet's I forgot to turn right and continued down the road. So I thought that's OK. I'll just go to Zeller's first and the vet later. It wasn't until I had parked in Safeway's lot and had locked the car that I realized I'd forgotten about Zeller's too. I was so ticked off with myself I just got the groceries and came home. It was after dinner when I remembered I still had three loads of laundry to do. Today is pouring rain so a walk is out of the picture for now. But I must get the canned cat food for Peaches today. I felt so guilty last night that I opened a can of tuna for him. I would also like to get my shopping at Zeller's over with and fold the laundry that DH said he would fold but didn't. I hate having stuff hanging over my head. As per usual I'm getting bored with the shawl. It's just over 50% knit and now it's become a chore. I need to finish it ASAP so I can start designing a sweater to match. DD#2 has honoured me with a request for Danica's coming home outfit.
SHEESH! Even my blogging is scattered and disorganized. I think those sleepless nights I had last week are still effecting me.
