I drove over to the track for a walk today. It's only the second time I've been walking since......I can't remember when. On Monday, when I first walked, it felt so good I thought I'd try a bit of jogging so for 1/4 of the regulation size track I jogged and for 3/4 I walked. I continued this five more times around the track. Monday night I was sore but that was nothing compared to how I felt yesterday. I'm in pain from the bottom of my skull to the middle of my back. My hips ache like they are arthritic and I can't even begin to explain the agony from just below my knees down to the top of my feet. I walked around the block, with The Three Year Old, yesterday, just to loosen up a bit. Today I walked the track for about 30 minutes before I noticed I was limping a bit and putting most of my weight on my right leg so I quit and came home. I plan to walk the track every other day but it will be some time before I try jogging again.
