Vested Interest

I made a few more vests.

This one, Rose Trellis, is mine and this is how it hangs when I'm wearing it.

Same vest laid out flat so you can see the details.

Another rectangular vest, Sand and Surf. Will see if the Blue Fish Gallery would like this one.

Little pink Turkish baby vest for sale in my Etsy Shop.

Bigger vest for my five year old granddaughter.

I'm still having trouble with the designing. I may have to modify the pattern in my head.

Last night's meeting was fun. My lemon and cherry loaves were a hit.

Geez.. such ambition!

Yesterday Donna asked the 9-year old grandson how he likes the gloves and hat she knitted. This kid has multiple diagnoses so she shouldn't have been surprised that he "can't find" any of it. I could tell she was ready to strangle him, but instead she reminded him that it takes Grandma a long time to knit things. I think knitted items should be made for the gurl and the boys can survive on thrift store product.

It's all very impressive. That sand and surf doesn't look like a rectangular pattern at all. That pattern looks like it has applied ribbing armhole trim, and applied ribbing at the front, too; is it? or do you just rib the edges?

I messed up on the name. It's actually called Sand and Sea. There is no ribbing anywhere. It's just a garter stitch border all the way around the rectangle. I'd keep it but it's only a size small.
