Tired

How's that for a catchy title? I'm so tired I can't think straight. I'm snapping at DH and Peaches for yowling for real fish when all he got was cat food (Peaches not DH). I'd be snapping at Angel but she was smart enough to stay out of sight today. After five days of us (DH and I not Angel and I) sleeping in separate rooms so I could catch up on some lost sleep DH has rejoined me in the master bedroom which means the window is open all night and I'm again serenaded by his snores and the pack of dogs next door. It doesn't help that I'm going in for minor surgery first thing Friday morning. There was one bright spot to my day this afternoon. After glancing out my window and seeing the dog pack's mommy snoozing on their garden swing I decided the garbage can and recycling box just had to be dragged, in two separate trips, banging them on everything within my reach, up the driveway and into the garage with much door slamming. It did my heart good to hear her up and attem almost immediately.

Make all the noise you can when you get a chance, these people are immune to logic. I think many dog owners are deaf to the noise their dogs make. Or else they are always in the shower when the dogs are carrying on so they can't hear it. Maybe when they do get a faint hint of their dogs barking they probably think it's cute like a lot of parents are about their obnoxious kids: "Oh, there's that Woofy again, riling up Barfy and Spot and Geronimo and Cujo. He's such a pistol and it's just so cute the way they follow his lead." Really, I think it's a form of brain death.

I believe, last year the fellow directly behind them asked them to keep the dogs quiet in the wee hours when his wife returned home from the hospital but the peace only lasted a week or so.

There are ways to alleviate snoring and this could be a symptom of sleep apnea, which DH might ask his doctor about. As for the neighbor, have you tried talking to her in a spirit of "can we solve this?" Does banging things wise her up? The goal is to get her to do something about her dogs. Dogs can be trained out of constant barking. Does annoying her in kind get her to say, "Oh, what a fool I've been. My dogs are a problem. I think I'll just take them to a trainer"? Hope you get some rest soon.

I have been battling raging fatigue for several months. I told the doctor and he dismissed it as a combination of the altitude here in Cow Snot and my heart condition. He also threw my weight in there as an extra added attraction. Moron. Hope you gets ta feeling better soon.

Interesting how they find things (the docs) to carp about. I have also been experiencing major fatique and I have no heart or weight issues. Do you take vitamins?

I'm scheduled for a "cardiac assessment", whatever that is, at the end of this month. I hoping he's not going to tell me something I don't know.
